LaunchingWe are launching. Our first studies are in preparation, and our first releases will follow in the coming months.

About

Who we are

Polibridge Development Delivery Lab is an independent research lab. We study how institutions turn policies and investments in people into opportunities and public services that people actually experience.

Our mission

We examine what happens between a policy promise and the experience of the people it is intended to serve, and we publish evidence that the people running programs can use.

Our organising question

What helps institutions turn policy into opportunity and results that people experience?

Where we work

Our initial focus countries are Nigeria, India and Korea. Actual case locations depend on access, and we begin with cases we can reach. When we compare settings, we compare how institutions function rather than assuming a policy can be copied from one place to another.

Independence of research

We choose our own questions. Funders and partners can contribute access, data or review, but they cannot approve, change, delay or suppress our conclusions. Every study states its methods and limitations, and corrections stay visible.

Our standard for research

Join our community

Educators, training providers, youth organisations, public officials and researchers can bring us a delivery problem, propose an analysis, or join a Working Table discussion.

What is the Polibridge Development Delivery Lab?

An independent research lab that studies how institutions turn policies and investments in people into opportunities and public services. We focus on what happens between a policy promise and the experience of the people it is meant to serve.

What do you mean by "delivery"?

Delivery is everything between a decision and its result: the agencies that fund and staff a program, the handovers between them, the frontline services people meet, and whether people can use what is offered. We study where those links hold and where they break.

Where do you work?

Our initial focus countries are Nigeria, India and Korea. Actual case locations depend on access. We compare how institutions work in different settings rather than assuming a policy can be copied from one country to another.

Who runs the lab?

The lab was founded by Colin Jun and Segun Oyekale, who both lead research. You can read more on our People page.

How is the lab funded?

The lab is currently funded by its founders. As our work matures we may seek support for specific studies. Funders can help define a question, but they cannot approve, change, delay or suppress our conclusions, and we disclose relevant funding.

Do you do commissioned research?

Not yet. We may take on commissioned work once we have the expertise, capacity and contracting arrangements in place, and only on terms that protect our independence.

How can I contribute or take part?

Practitioners can bring us a delivery problem, and researchers can propose a bounded analysis. We review proposals monthly. Interview participation is always voluntary, and we ask permission before using names or quotations.
